Pregnancy confirmed whoop – whoop!!!
All is looking good with at least 6 pups to see🤩 This makes me extra happy since it’s frozen AI and has made me confident in this method which will open up the world of world wide! A success for the breed in my mind, I will consider this again! Over the moon I am!! Thanks to all involved, specially Fabienne who did all the effort of getting Chaplin collected which included long travels on more then one occasion, support and everything. Your next boy is on route Fabienne ☺️, thank you to Rhi and Garry of coure for endless tours to get blood tests and get the timing right and of course to superstar Karen at Millhouse Veterinary Services (which might be well freaked out by now since I’ve sent her an ‘I love you’ message just now🤣

10-06-26
Eko has been inseminated today🤩 let’s cross our fingers now🤞🏻
07-07-26
Blood test this evening showed her levels are up to 14 so the ‘date’ is set for Friday 😁🤞🏻
06-07-26
We’re on her third blood test! Levels today are 9.3, which means not ovulated yet. Frozen needs to be implanted a couple of days after ovulation. She will go back for another tomorrow to get the timing right.

Eko is in season!!!
The R-litter is planned with Avonwolf Key To Success x Chaplin Von Der Lilienwiese, it will be a breeding I will do in a 50-50 manner with Garry and Rhi (the owner of Eko). This means Eko will whelp at home (with my help if needed) and stay for the first 4 weeks with mum until she had enough and after that they will be with me for the imprinting period.
I’m trying my first frozen AI! Chaplin is in Austria and it is a hell of a process trying to travel there within a 12 day window, plus Wild Child Eko might not like him like with Bruce and a natural mating won’t be easy to say the least!
So I have imported semen and it will be ready for Eko’s season in the summer!
It is not an easy process after Brexit at all and rather costly but I’m such a fan of Chaplin and we do have to keep those lines crossing and not just use dogs near by! I am a great believer in outcrossing and the health that comes with it. So!
Fabienne kindly went to Vienna to take Chaps semen and it is in the process of being shipped to the UK in preparation for Eko’s next season – how exciting!
Cross your fingers we will have success with this process!
To the litter:
I’m expecting stocky dogs with intense drive, ideal sport dogs. Highly driven, will to please dogs with extreme power.
It is a very exciting mating! I have my fingers and toes crossed it will work!!
