Here it is, I only see it in the morning, must be when they’re hungry click

So I get back from the pub this evening and instead of 3 dogs I got welcomed by 4 dogs!!🤣 One pup broke out and was wondering about lol. Mojo, Keith and Xia acted like it’s the most normal thing in the world 😂.

Besides that the names all got approved today 🤩 and here they are, chosen by their owners:

Avonwolf Quinn

Avonwolf Quantum

Avonwolf Qadriyyah

Avonwolf Quest

Avonwolf Queen Aerfen

Avonwolf Queen Of Darkness

Avonwolf Quilla

Avonwolf Quite The Boy

Mojo slept upstairs with us last night, she did trips down stairs regularly but enjoyed the break back with the ‘adults’ lol. When I came downstairs this morning it was the first time I approached a pen full of playing pups and not just laying around little lumps ☺️. It has definitely started to liven up in the pen! Exciting times ahead!! Will video them later, they’ve gone back to sleep now ❤️.

We have a lot of noise, crawling, looking and it won’t be long when they start escaping! So the whelping pen upgrade is imminent, I‘m hoping it can wait until after the Easter weekend as I have my protection helper over from Holland and hosting a busy seminar!

Just some current vibes🥰 click and click.

We have moved onto other dogs are allowed back into the kitchen now🥳! Phew – thank god for that 🤭Mo is starting to relax👌🏻. I‘ve also weighed the fatties again today after a while, because I‘m not worried about any of them I don’t do it daily. They’re all over a kilo now, sometimes I look at them in the evening and feel like they’ve gone huge over the day🤣

Mojo is clearly getting bored of being a full time mum! I’ve had some lovley cuddles with her on the couch this morning and I will take her to the field again in a bit to take the edge off. So she’ll be a happy mama again and I can go to the dog club with the youngsters lol. I’m basically just a food dispenser to her atm! She’s on 2kg of meat a day currently!! It’s all going into milk. I’ve ordered some salmon minced as well now in preparation for their first weaning meal 😃. Eyes are starting to open as well now so it’s all happening! Click

Besides that Savvy has cheekily quickly met them, she’s the most excited next to Xia about the new arrivals. I’ve also shown the birds quickly but they were far less impressed by the little creatures lol.

Here is the famous Mojo-live mother position😂 she cracks me up! Too cool for school this girl! click

We’re all good here, little ones are no longer little ones but FATTSO’s lol. She’s doing a fab job but she’s also still in labour rage! Yes I didn’t mention it but she shredds (so do most females in and around labour) all beds. SO many vet beds she has shredded and still does…. The best one was of course MY BED – little shit put holes in my bed, this was the days leading up to birth when I was at work and came back to feathers!! (this will make you laugh click). So yes we’re still in destroy mode! I don’t like it for obvious reasons but also for reasons of pups being stuck in the vet bed holes so I have to change them every time she shreds one but of course this means ALL my vet beds are soon shredded! Well, it’s part of it…. oh the joys!

Lateron Mojo was adamant she wanted to come with us to the field! First time she was happy to leave them behind for a good bomb around with Keith 🥰 click Xia stayed in on babysit duties which she obviously loved🫶🏻 best Nanny ever!

One week already!

Time for some individuals for you 🤩. I’ve sent the kennel names off this morning too, will reveal them once they have been accepted. Mo is still super protective of them, Keith walked inside the house this morning but because he walked towards the kitchen Mojo had to give him a pasting…. Not like he cares about the pups! He likes making pups🤭, the minute they’re here he couldn’t care less about them lol. We’re all good, we are accepting of her motherly hormones ha!

24-03-26

Not much to report, all is going smoothly. Mo is relaxed as you can see 🤭. Xia has had a cheeky meet finally 🥰click Oh and I forgot to say, the males are Red and Blue and the rest are females.

23-03-26

After Mo‘s happy dance yesterday morning she is starting to get bored (knew it wouldn’t last long!). So although a fab mum she is coming out the box a lot more. One squeak and she’s back in! But yes, garden time and sofa cuddles, also early morning get ups🙄. I gave her a very much needed bath last night too.

This morning Mojo is waking me up at 6am – I know this lol, it’s the ‘happy pups are safe’ moment! Most of my females do it, after 3-4 days they are finally relaxed and come roll around in a happy manner! I’m very pleased today was this day for Mo and we had a good roll round the couch together – she is happy! Pupsters are all good, I weighed them again today and they are all evenly between 550-690g. I will leave Mo the garden today when I go and do some NASU assessments, she can then potter around in her own time without worrying I will go and do silly things like weighing them again🤭

3 days post birth

All is good in the hood, Miss Dynamite (Mo) wants me out the house 🤷‍♀️. Fine, will give her the space she wants! Xia is sooo curious to go see them too. Told her I would stay as far away as possible lol miss grumpy does not want visitors! Let’s see how long that lasts 🤣

Clip from last night🥰

All is good this morning! Everyone is doing very well and putting on weight very nicely. Mojo is a fabulous mum! She wants her peace, did not appreciate me weighing them when I locked her outside! I also removed a couple of dew claws from two females, she’s aggro with me now lol. Anyway I will leave them in peace now, just wanted to have a good check over and now I know I’ve had all the genders right, dew claws are sorted and everything is good. I will send out the emails for the lucky owners already as I’m not worried about any of them! Things are good 🥰

Update 6pm

Carrying on from 9.30 this morning she took her time! With pups after a 4 hour break and then another after a 3 hour break – exhaustion all way round – she has finished with a girl at 5pm. i have asked her for girls over and over again and boy has she delivered!! End count is 2/6 and I’m over the moon! All are of substantial size which makes it easier and less worrying as they sure aren’t fragile! Mo is rightly so super exhausted after a 13 hour labour!! We are both looking forward to a very good nights sleep!

9 weeks ago today we’ve had the first mating!

So last night looked the same as the night before! Slight panting, some shivering but nothing serious. So all day I’m staying close by and keep a close eye on her but she eats still well and also still goes in the yard to bark at anyone going past! Like the night before I try to go to bed early in case I’m pulling an all nighter! So I put the girls to bed at 9.30pm, the oldies go upstairs into my bed room and I prep for another night on he couch with Mo. I watch one more episode of Dr. House (lol yes nostalgia!) and want to go to sleep when she has a discharge come out. In the moment I thought her water broke! So quickly we move into the kitchen, my new whelping box is so large it is literally the only room it will fit! Plus some bird changes I won’t bore you with lol. Anyway! So she has the whelping box and I grab myself a dog bed and a duvet and get ready for a long night! Then – NOTHING happens! Until 00.20 when the water really breaks lol – ok now we’re going for it!!! – nope! Again a huge wait begins, to the point that I worry around 4am! She’s had several contractions but no puppy in sight – you know I have whelped MANY litters, I have whelped 17 litters of my own plus helped friends with theirs GSD’s, Aussies, you name it but still everytime it is nerve wrecking all over again!!- . So I message Lisa at 4am even though for sure she’s asleep and won’t hear it! But it worked! At 4.05 Mr. Red appears ❤️ FINALLY and the reason of the delays is the fact that he weighs a whopping 550grams!!!! I pull him out half way as fatty is stuck! Mojo is slightly freaked by the little creature who has a good set of lungs on him! But finally settles with him after a good clean and now she settles into her role and takes her time with the throw outs which come pretty much hourly. I help pull out the second boy at 5am but tbh after that I fall in and out of sleep and she is doing a fab job all by herself! So right now it is 9.30AM, we have 2 boys and 3 girls so far and I’m happily watching the CACIT golden league next to the whelping box 🥰. I will update again later!

Day 62/63

Everything I do has to be quick lol I still work some warrants and attend some meetings for the kennels but I‘m glued to the camera and I‘m uncomfortable of being far away! But…. Nothing’s happening atm… I’m sleeping on the couch with Mo too but we are still comfortable 😊. She is, as usual, working on her dent in the garden and food wise anything that isn’t minced will be buried in different spots in the garden (the others love it! It’s like an Easter egg hunt! Nuke and Keith already found staches and had extra meals!).

14-03-26

Day 60/63

She’s eating and sleeping loads and I can feel the little munchkins moving a lot!! But all quiet still 😁

12-03-26

Day 58/63

Whelping box is ready, not long now☺️

02-03-26

Day 48/63

Mo is HUGE!! And clearly tired and slowing a lot, she’s still coming on walks but we‘ve taken it down several notches already! I‘m actually starting maternity leave next week already so she can stay at home!

16-02-26

Day 34/63

Clearly showing already!!😍

12-02-26

Pregnancy confirmed today 🥳🥳🥳 all is looking good! How very exciting 🤩

Keith was right once again! No blood to show but he was bang on like he always is🥰 my right hand!

17-01-26

Last mating done today (I’m pretty sure they’d carry on 🤭) and a proper 20 minute tie even though I thought she might be out by now. Well Keith is still pretty crazy for her and has to sleep outside of the house so I’m thinking we have covered her very well now! Fingers crossed we’ll get a full whelping box in spring🤩

15-01-26

Another mating was done with an 18 minute tie! Honestly this must be the easiest/nicest mating in ages if not ever! They like each other and they mate within seconds – no dramas, no waiting – boom done! I arrived at Emile and Tish’s at 5pm and by 5.30 I was on route back! LOVLEY!!

14-01-26

So! I actually thought this ain’t happening! Mojo showed all signs of a season BUT no blood😳. Not so easy if the main bit isn’t there… However we went with the flow, possibly a silent season I thought so let’s see! Last night Keith tried to mate her! All those days whilst Mo was sooo flirty and teasing him he wasn’t interested. When he was keen last night I immediately messaged Emile and arranged a date with Zulu. Although I got a blood test booked for tomorrow I super trust Keith! He was right before whilst a machine said otherwise!

I walked her into Zulu’s garden and within one minute-I kid you not – they were tied! For 15 minutes!! So I’d like to think Keith knows his 💩🤭.

Change of plans! January 2026

Females and their cycles…. lol Well originally I was meant to go to Austria and use Chaplin for Mojo’s litter (that was scheduled for summer) however since Nyx has started her season she matched with her as well now. It’s only been 4 months since she was in season because Savvy was! Well as the alpha in my pack I guess she’s got to stay on top! There is no way I can drop everything and shoot off the 780 miles to Fabienne in Austria, besides work and everything the icey and snowy season just make this impossible… We’ll put the Chaplin x Mojo litter back a couple of years!

So! I will breed her this time and I will do a plan that I’ve had many years back but it never happened – Zulu! Zulu comes from the most successful litter I have bred up to date! With 4 siblings of his entered the IGP World Championship, several in consecutive years at the FMBB as well as the FCi’s. We have Flyball champs, Police dogs, agility dogs and all sorts in the D-litter and as they are 8 years old now I’d like to use Zulu one more time so his offsprings can hopefully carry on now!

I’ve always thought this would be a fantastic match! Zulu’s calm, level headed character who is absolutely fine and confident with absolutely anything matched with Mojo’s wild side! Adding spice to Zulu whilst calming the Mojo drive down a slight bit would be my hope :).

I’m sooo excited for this! Well she has started a different colour discharge therefor the date should be in the next two weeks! Cross your fingers for this fabulous mating!

Pups will be SDCA 1&2 clear by parentage
