Last mating done today (I’m pretty sure they’d carry on 🀭) and a proper 20 minute tie even though I thought she might be out by now. Well Keith is still pretty crazy for her and has to sleep outside of the house so I’m thinking we have covered her very well now! Fingers crossed we’ll get a full whelping box in spring🀩

Another mating was done with an 18 minute tie! Honestly this must be the easiest/nicest mating in ages if not ever! They like each other and they mate within seconds – no dramas, no waiting – boom done! I arrived at Emile and Tish’s at 5pm and by 5.30 I was on route back! LOVLEY!!

So! I actually thought this ain’t happening! Mojo showed all signs of a season BUT no blood😳. Not so easy if the main bit isn’t there… However we went with the flow, possibly a silent season I thought so let’s see! Last night Keith tried to mate her! All those days whilst Mo was sooo flirty and teasing him he wasn’t interested. When he was keen last night I immediately messaged Emile and arranged a date with Zulu. Although I got a blood test booked for tomorrow I super trust Keith! He was right before whilst a machine said otherwise!

I walked her into Zulu’s garden and within one minute-I kid you not – they were tied! For 15 minutes!! So I’d like to think Keith knows his πŸ’©πŸ€.

Change of plans! January 2026

Females and their cycles…. lol Well originally I was meant to go to Austria and use Chaplin for Mojo’s litter (that was scheduled for summer) however since Nyx has started her season she matched with her as well now. It’s only been 4 months since she was in season because Savvy was! Well as the alpha in my pack I guess she’s got to stay on top! There is no way I can drop everything and shoot off the 780 miles to Fabienne in Austria, besides work and everything the icey and snowy season just make this impossible… We’ll put the Chaplin x Mojo litter back a couple of years!

So! I will breed her this time and I will do a plan that I’ve had many years back but it never happened – Zulu! Zulu comes from the most successful litter I have bred up to date! With 4 siblings of his entered the IGP World Championship, several in consecutive years at the FMBB as well as the FCi’s. We have Flyball champs, Police dogs, agility dogs and all sorts in the D-litter and as they are 8 years old now I’d like to use Zulu one more time so his offsprings can hopefully carry on now!

I’ve always thought this would be a fantastic match! Zulu’s calm, level headed character who is absolutely fine and confident with absolutely anything matched with Mojo’s wild side! Adding spice to Zulu whilst calming the Mojo drive down a slight bit would be my hope :).

I’m sooo excited for this! Well she has started a different colour discharge therefor the date should be in the next two weeks! Cross your fingers for this fabulous mating!

Pups will be SDCA 1&2 clear by parentage
