Sometimes things change….
I‘m not getting into it as it wasn’t straight forward BUT a change of circumstances made miss purple change postcode. She is now in training for IGP and has a great future ahead of her🤩

Rain, rain, RAIN! We have a flooded NYE and the pups have to be satisfied with indoor play, luckily a big water bottle does the job😁

30-12-23
Yammy chicken wings for breakfast, chomp chomp!

An emotional day! Mister blue has had his surgery and has also left the building. It all went well and he’s now in recovery with his new family ❤ . When we picked him up and he had just woken up from his sedation he licked my face and then bit my neck lol. I think he will be fine!! All the very best little one and thank you 1000 to Petra for giving him full care.

28-12-23
My family is over from Switzerland and the pups are getting children desensitised (or is it the other way round 🤔🤣)

27-12-23
Look at these angry little people after the late evening feed lol click
26-12-23
We’re back home, we’ve spent Xmas in Brum, the pups had a night out once again with a big journey 🎅🏽 they are little land sharks!🦈 That’s it now, no more trips, it is too difficult and dangerous to put them in and out the van. They bite everyone, hang off everywhere and climb out of everything 😂 proper strong personalities are building 💪🏻

25-12-23
Chipped, wormed up to date, picks done😁 Merry Xmas everyone 🎅🏽

23-12-23
Busy day at the dog club, they have met lots of people and dogs😊

6 weeks old already!
We went to Petra the dog physio (mum of blue boy), they’ve had a lovley time biting everyone lol. After a very good evaluation of his extra toes and his movement we have decided together that it will be best for him to have the extras removed. We have booked him into my awesome vet Richard for next week since we didn’t want him too young for the anesthetic and we also didn’t want him to loose out on important sibling interactions. He’s booked in after his 7th week and will after go straight into his new home to Petra where she will be able to give him her full attention without siblings or other dogs to distract him ❤ . We believe this is the best thing to do for him as they are in the way for him to walk straight and we are wanting to avoid later hip issues.

Rain rain rain once again… I had to lock them outside for a few minutes to clean they’re room, they were not happy 🙉lol click. Then we’ve had another visit :). Paperwork arrived too so we’re getting ready 💪🏻

18-12-23
Out in the big garden run today all day, 2nd worming in full swing, the weights are between 2.1kg and 3.1kg and here are some individuals from today:

17-12-23
A lot happier at work today and more active in the not so warm weather. They’re starting to accustom 💪🏻👊🏻
An old Pillow (which Mo shredded) and an empty water bottle and boom I could watch them for ages😂 such time wasters🥰 click and then ‚big sister‘ Kimmy has joined them for a bit since she’s alone now waiting to be picked up to go to Hungary. They have all squared themselves up to her to start with lol now they’re curled up together ❤️

16-12-23
At work with the M‘s for the first time 😊 traveling early hours, new environments, all day outside and more visitors. They are a super lively gang!

15-12-23
Environmentals going in full swing! Another trip for them – this was nothing to them lol – to Birmingham. To ‘Horton Motorbikes’ they’ve spent the day in the shop around a working unit with bikes going in and out and other people and stuff.

14-12-23
5 weeks!
Mama Rogue is on route back to Scotland, she hasn’t fed them for nearly 3 days now and the milk has reduced drastically – with zero interest of going into them 😂 don’t blame her! Safe travels girls, was lovley having you here!
The little ones are doing very well, they’re getting 4 times solids a day and the run has been extended to inside and outside see here. They’ve adjusted very well to the colder temperatures in the coservatory, if it gets too low the heater is on but mainly they curl up together and aren’t bothered.
12-12-23
First time outside for the little ones so we could clean the whelping area properly, they loved it😍 click
Litter registration has been accepted and is on route! Here are the names chosen by their future owners:

11-12-23
More visitors today, only one feed off of mama and the noise levels have GONE UP!!!! 🙉🎧

10-12-23
The M‘s (and me and Bridget!) had a crazy busy weekend! So many visitors and so many new things for them. Mama Rogue is not enjoying the litter gators on her anymore, they hurt! So we are doing some pups at the time to slowly dry her off. They’re getting 3 times solids now and I will uppen to 4 soon to release Rogue.

09-12-23
Arrived yesterday from the monster drive down from Inverness – awesome work Bridget, thank you so much for bringing them down – they are happy as can be 🙂 met lots of people today, had their first solids – salmon of course – and all eat very well!! Two solid meals been had and mama Rogue (it’s her 6th birthday today!) topped them up between. Things are going gooood 🙂

05-12-23
First worming has been completed last week, Kennel Club Registrations are sent off – we’re all on track -and I’m getting excited to have the little rascals at mine by the end of the week🤩
02-12-23
Look at these gorgeous faces😍😍😍

01-12-23
Nearly time for the little rascals to make the journey over to me 🤩 Exciting!! I have ordered some recent pics from Alex😁. Trip is planned for the end of next week and lots of adventures coming up with them, a long journey down will be the first environmentals for them and they’ll be bomb proof driving after that just like the J-litter was💪🏻. Then as soon as they’re here the adventures will really start for them I can not wait!
I’m over the moon to say I have found the very best home for Mr. blue with the extra toes, my dog physio ❤ best possible home for him, she will monitor and work with it – that woman is AMAZING, she literally looks after all our club dogs – so we will see wether there’s anything that needs doing with that foot at all or not. He will have a protection future and come to my club – first pick done 🙂 I will now send off the KC registrations.
27-11-23
First course of worming started – needs repeating for 3 days.

2 weeks old!
In time, eyes are opening 👀 here are some individuals from last night:

20-11-23
A few days ago Alex has noticed a couple of extra toes on one of the boys😱 Lots of studying and research has followed and we’ve asked several vets about their opinions. Me and Alex were adamant we didn’t want to give you a dog with ‚extras‘😂 but vets have advised against it. Here is what we’ve learned and the conclusion we‘ve come to: an extra couple of toes is a very rare occurrence. It won’t harm the dog in any way, some even say it benefits it’s grip.
After asking 4 vets of removal and non of them advising to we have decided to let the new owner decide. Apparently the OP will cost £600 wether it’s now or later in life. The chances of the dog ever being negatively affected by the extra toes is minimal to none so therefore it is just for aesthetic reasons. Alex and myself have decided to leave the decision in the new owners hands and we will reduce the pups price by £600 (the price of the OP should you ever feel like having them removed). Here a link if you‘d like to read up about it some more click.
This is not everyones cup of tea I can imagine and by all means if you feel funny about the ‚extras‘ this isn’t the pup for you. But if that’s not bothering you as much as it isn’t bothering him and you fancy a great dog at a reduced price then email me (I’m talking to all of you who booked one of the M‘s now, I take it that’s the majority of the diary followers). Breeding restrictions on him won’t be lifted but apart from that nothing will be different for him.

14-11-23
Rogue had a bad tummy for a coupe of days so a vet trip was needed, she had a slight start of mastitis building up so got some antibiotics (puppy safe ones) and is now on the mend again. All puppies are putting on weight nicely.

11-11-23
Slowly putting weight on, Rogue is a fussy eater and is very picky with what she gets served lol.

10-11-23
First day and everyone is doing well, I’ll get the weights later today and we’ll keep an eye on them. For everyone who’s on the list for one of these pups please be patient. I will email everyone with all infos in the next few days once we know everyone is definitely doing well.

Day 63/63
So I wake up and panic thinking my phone didn’t ring! I had it on loud all night and was expecting the call, so I contact Alex and a very exhausted voice said ,no change’ lol. Funny for me to say, I’ve had a Lovley sleep 😂 . Anyway, first stage of labour can take 24 hours so nothing unusual but I know how exhausting it is! At 13.56 finally she gives birth to the first puppy ❤️, it’s a boy and he’s getting the blue collar. 377g is a nice weight! Because she likes to keep us waiting she didn’t have the next one until 16.45…. It’s a girl and she gets the purple collar weighing a whopping 437grams! Purple was holding it up, Alex had to help getting her out and as expected another followed right away at 16.57. Another girl, pink collar with 334g. Red boy followed at 18.27 with 392g. Half hour later green boy appeared with 455g.

Another break and Alex decides to pop into the vet before they shut. She has one in the car at 20.55… A little girl, she gets the orange collar (check out the J-litter diary, Rogue had a little orange last time as well 🙂 ) at 301g. Vet confirmed two are still in there and everything is looking good 👍. At 23.02 Mr. Yellow arrives with 449g. Aaaand just before midnight, 11.58 the last little boy arrives- what a relief! – Mr.Black with 431g. Thanks to the vets we know she’s done now and we’re really happy with 5 boys and 3 girls ❤️.

Day 62/63
We’re convinced she has reached first stage of labour. Lots of panting and shivering…. Then she falls asleep….. Poor Alex and Bridget were up all night with her, at 2am it got really extreme…..
05-11-23
Day 59/63
Waiting for these puppies like….
Rogue looks super fed up lol Alex and Bridget are ready and so am I💪🏻. This will be my first FaceTime litter 🙈😂 but last time I was up there for her birth she didn’t let me anywhere near her. So therefor I am just as much help over video call as I was last time, plus her stress levels are probably better off (and of course I have pups already so couldn’t possibly travel 8 hours up north right now!). The Brown’s are more then capable and now also second time midwives 😁. I’ve kept the week free to be ready, she looks like she won’t wait all the way to Thursday but let’s see. Exciting!!

30-10-23
Day 53/63
Home run now!! Last 10 days so exciting!!

24-10-23
Day 47/63
Look at that belly grow ❤ Alex tells me she’s super moody with her brother now, like ‘don’t touch my belly!!!!’ lol Couple more weeks – exciting!

19-10-23
Day 42/63
It’s a hard life chilling with Brother Riot😁

16-10-23
Day 39/63
Someone is starting to look pregnant 😁

06-10-22
Day 29/63
Pregnancy confirmed🥳🍾
Happy to announce the scan today showed that Rogue is pregnant and everything is looking good. Exciting times ahead!!

Mated!!
I wasn‘t even going to mention she’s in season as until last minute we weren’t sure wether we can make it work!
Rogue came into season whilst I’m picking up my puppy from Poland…. Not ideal since Alex is in Inverness and Ceara with Bear is in Whiltshire🙈. 8 hrs one way… the plan was that I would go towards Alex with Bear but of course that wasn‘t possible. So huge thanks to Ceara, the owner of Bear for being so cooperative and of course Alex for doing the monster drive!
There was only room for one mating for logistic reasons with work and child duties and everything else, so let’s cross our fingers it was a success🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻.

We’re planning the M-litter with Rogue (Avonwolf Dashka) and expect her season around August.
I’m planning a small framed breeding on request of several Agility and Flyball people who are asking for a very long time now. Many many Malis are bred bigger then the breed standard, I’m trying to start a smaller type for those who request the agility and other super fast and agile type. We all know not all those pups will be of small size, since Rogues siblings aren’t small and also Bear’s parents aren’t. The plan is to start selecting smaller for these types of homes. I feel I have enough people asking for the same type of dog and with Rogues petit size I think she’ll be ideal for this breeding. Besides having the perfect frame for it she is also super fast and agile, out the D-litter which is the most successful litter in sports I’ve ever bred with 5 dogs qualified at a world championship level. Rogue has also produced pups that now do well in those sports already so a proven bitch for these sports.
This is a 50 – 50 breeding between me and Alex Brown, the owner of Rogue. We have done the same with the J-litter and it worked very well (check out the diary of the J’s here). They will stay wit Rogue and the Browns in Inverness for the first 4 weeks and then with me for the second 4 weeks :).
Rogue will be covered by Avonwolf Incognito, a Xia x Vox son, now that he has passed all his health tests.
This mating will be line bred to Lucy, the master mother of Avonwolf 😊, in the 3rd generation.
Rogue is expected to have her season in mid August, unlike other females we are pretty certain with her as she’s kept her regular 6 months cycle all her life.
Fully booked, no more reservations are being taken.
