Savage,
well she really did give me run for my money!!
A VERY difficult puppy, she was riddled with nerve, I didn’t really see this working… I never had a pup this sensitive to enviromentals. Many conversations with the breeder and other breeders who used Qazan later everyone put me at ease to wait. Just WAIT at least until she’s 2 yo before making any decisions these dogs are late maturing.
Ok…. This wasn’t easy for me because of course our bond is getting stronger and stronger but I still worried she might not make it into my breeding program with all this nerve in her. At the same time there were SO many traits I loved about her. Like her beautiful clear head who can switch from drive to calm in seconds. Her beautiful built of strong, heavy boned, square stature with a very intimidating stands. She’s the biggest dog I own! A stunning female with a genetically full push grip.
Anyway, it took her first season to shift her nerve to POWER. Suddenly that knot opened and the shift of putting all her energy of worry into forward drive! A shift I never experienced before like this, but the extreme drives in this dog changed area. Quite incredible really, those NVBK’s are just different. Mo was similar, her extreme drives wasn’t nerve it was hunting but it was a similar process.
Well right now Sav is bursting with drive! Obedience is beautifully coming along, she’s great to work as she has such a clear head on her, she thinks and not just does. So tracking and nose work as you can imagine is also stunning! In protection she’s probably my most scary dog because she bloody means it! She isn’t a people dog and when she fires up she’s ready to hurt people. I’m just starting the muzzle attacks with her as well now. She’ll be my go to Security dog that’s for sure.
In regards of breeding, she has now passed all her health tests and they are fab! So I will plan a breeding with her but I will let her mature at lest until 3 yo. I will put the most confident dog known to man (probably Zulu) onto her as that first year with Sav was by all means not easy. I won’t give them to police homes just because they are usually in a rush! Savvy’s line need time! I won’t do this breeding until I got the right lot of people together who want this and are in no rush to give these pups time.

VERY exciting lines, finest NVBK blood in her dad (!!) I’m expecting a highly strong driven pup out of this combination and a nice challenge for myself 😁. A hard protection future is the plan with lots of fun real life scenario’s and who knows maybe some ‘Street trials’ we’ll see how we get on!
Savvy is in a litter of 8 pups with 3 females and 5 males. I’m super excited to have pick from the females.
Many many thanks to Stefan in germany for the trust in me, I will do my very best to do her justice!
